Common questions

Does it understand plumbing work?

It's set up for trades from day one and works to your setup: your services, your prices, your service area, your hours. It finds out what the job is, the suburb and when they're after it, and your own notes let it answer the questions your customers usually ask.

Will it wake me for every after-hours call?

It answers every forwarded call and books it or takes a lead. You get a short text after each call so nothing slips, and a genuine emergency texts you while the caller's still on the line. You decide whether to ring back or leave it till morning.

Can it quote a job for me?

On a paid plan it gives a guide price from your price list unless you switch that off, never a firm one over the phone. Turn booking on and it can book a time to come and look; leave it off and the job comes through as a lead, and AI quoting drafts the quote once you've seen it.

Do I need a new phone number?

No. You keep the number your customers already ring and forward it to Tradies Line when you're busy or don't answer, using your carrier's forwarding codes or phone settings. Turn it off the same way. Your carrier may charge for forwarded minutes; we don't.
