How it works
Booking goes out to your calendar, your calendar's busy times come back. Here is exactly what happens.

Jobs you book sync to your calendar
On Free and Starter, every scheduled job lands on your default Outlook calendar, with the customer, address, time and notes. On Pro and Enterprise, only the jobs you're rostered on sync; the rest stay in the dashboard.

On Pro and Enterprise, the calendar is yours alone
It syncs only the jobs you're rostered on, not the whole roster. Get rostered onto a job and it lands on your calendar. Come off it and it comes back off. There is no separate toggle to switch this on.

The assistant's own bookings
On Free and Starter, a job the AI books syncs once you switch on "Sync booked jobs to Outlook Calendar" in Settings (off by default). On Pro and Enterprise the AI books jobs Unassigned, and a job syncs once you are rostered on it.

Your busy times
On Free and Starter, we check your Outlook Calendar for busy times before the assistant offers a slot, so it is less likely to offer a time you already have blocked out. On Pro and Enterprise, your calendar shows on the dashboard but does not change the times the assistant offers.

Your calendar shows up on the dashboard
Your existing Outlook Calendar events appear next to your jobs on the calendar view, so you can see your whole day in one place. We only read them. We never create, edit or delete anything already in your calendar.

Outlook Calendar works with Tradies Line on every plan, including Free. Which jobs sync depends on the plan: every scheduled job on Free and Starter, only your own jobs on Pro and Enterprise.

Common questions
Does this change my existing Outlook Calendar events?
No. We read your existing events to show them next to your jobs and, working alone, to help the assistant avoid your busy times. We never create, edit or delete anything already in your calendar.
Does my customer get a calendar invite?
No. The booking is added to your calendar only. Your customer is not added as an attendee and does not receive anything from Outlook.
What plan do I need for Outlook Calendar?
Every plan, including Free. Which jobs sync depends on the plan: every scheduled job on Free and Starter, only your own jobs on Pro and Enterprise.
Does this sync my crew's jobs?
On Free and Starter, yes: every scheduled job syncs to your Outlook Calendar. On Pro and Enterprise, only the jobs you're on sync.
Will this stop me from ever double-booking?
On Free and Starter, it lowers the chances, it does not guarantee it. The assistant checks your Outlook Calendar's busy times before offering a slot, and falls back to your Tradies Line schedule if your calendar is slow or unavailable. On Pro and Enterprise, your calendar does not feed the assistant at all; it works from your Tradies Line schedule.
