How it works
Connect Xero once and every invoice you send from Tradies Line flows through it automatically.

Sending an invoice
When you send an invoice and Xero is connected, Tradies Line emails your customer a pay link and the invoice is created in Xero as an approved invoice for your books. Xero never emails your customer.

Paying online
With TradiesLine Pay connected, your customer pays on the invoice page by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, or with Afterpay or Klarna where available. If you have not connected it, the page shows your bank details instead.

Getting paid
When the payment is recorded in Xero, the invoice is marked paid in Tradies Line and the job completes on its own. No updating it by hand.

Marking it paid yourself
Mark an invoice paid in Tradies Line and we record that payment back in Xero too, so both sides agree.

Tax rates
Tax is applied automatically based on how your Xero account is set up. There is no tax mapping for you to do.

Does Tradies Line take the payment?
Your customer pays through TradiesLine Pay straight to your own account, or by the bank details on the invoice page if Pay isn't connected.
Can I send quotes through Xero as well?
No. The Xero integration covers invoices only.
Does Tradies Line chase an unpaid Xero invoice?
Yes, the same as any other invoice: emails first, then texts and short AI calls once TradiesLine Pay is connected. Turn off Xero's own reminders so your customer doesn't get both.
What if I need to cancel an invoice?
Void it in Tradies Line and Xero updates to match, or void it in Xero and Tradies Line picks that up.
What plan do I need for Xero?
