Does the customer know they are speaking to an AI?
Yes. Your virtual AI receptionist tells them early in the call, right after they say what they need, so your customer always knows. This is how we handle every call, and we believe it builds more trust than a surprise.
What happens if a customer wants to speak to a human?
By default there is no live human takeover, though you can enable it if needed. Otherwise, your virtual AI receptionist politely takes the caller's name, number, and details, including how urgent the job is, then ends the call. The lead appears in your dashboard so you can call them back. We alert you about urgent jobs via SMS while the caller is still on the line, so you can get on it fast.
Does my virtual AI receptionist know about my specific business?
Yes. Your virtual AI receptionist is set up with your business name, trade, working hours, and timezone, so it answers as your own front desk. It uses your business name when it picks up, and it only offers times that fit your working schedule.
What if my virtual AI receptionist gets something wrong?
It can misjudge a call. When it is uncertain, it captures a lead for you to call back rather than guessing a booking. Every call has a full transcript in your dashboard, so you can see exactly what happened. If something is wrong, email us at support@tradiesline.ai. That is the best way to reach us right now, and we read every report ourselves and fix fast.
What's included, and what if I go over?
You get 50 calls a month on Solo and 300 on Teams. Calls under 10 seconds are never counted, demo calls never count, and every call is capped at 10 minutes. Past your allowance your virtual AI receptionist keeps picking up, with voice billed at $0.40 per minute and extra SMS at $0.15 each at the end of the month. If you would rather stop at your allowance, flip one switch in your dashboard and we pause instead of billing.
Which messages does it answer?
