Common questions

Does it understand carpentry work?

It's set up for trades from day one and works to your setup: your services, your prices, your service area, your hours. Doors, decks, stairs or a fit-out, it asks what the job is and gets the details down.

Can it take on renovation work?

It suits repairs and jobs you can price in one quote. Deposits, progress claims and variations aren't built yet, so a staged renovation still needs your usual system.

Can it quote a deck repair for me?

On a paid plan it gives a guide price from your price list unless you switch that off, never a firm one over the phone. Turn booking on and it can book a time to measure up; leave it off and a deck repair comes through as a lead, and AI quoting drafts the quote once you've measured up.

Do I need a new phone number?

No. You keep the number your customers already ring and forward it to Tradies Line when you're busy or don't answer, using your carrier's forwarding codes or phone settings. Turn it off the same way. Your carrier may charge for forwarded minutes; we don't.
