Six apps between jobs

  • The message you missed

It came in on Instagram on Saturday. You saw it on Tuesday.

  • Replying from the roof

Typing back to a customer with one hand while the other holds a ladder.

  • Who said what?

Half the job details are in a text and the other half are in a Facebook message.

Questions about the inbox

Which messages does it answer?

Website chat, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Instagram and email, all in one inbox. On paid plans, calls and two-way texts (Australia) join them, and Wombo replies in your business name, books the job when booking is on, drafts email replies for you to send, and flags anything urgent to you.

Can I reply to customers myself?

Yes. Open any conversation and reply from the inbox. On paid plans, your reply takes it over from Wombo, so he stops answering there. Calls, messages and emails from the same customer sit together, so you see the whole story before you answer.

Does the customer know it's an AI?

If a caller asks whether they're talking to a person, your AI tells them straight away that it's the AI receptionist for your business. In messages, Wombo says he's your AI assistant if asked. Calls are recorded, and your AI tells the caller so during the call. Our AI disclosure explains it for your customers.

Does it answer at night and on weekends?

Yes. Calls you forward get answered nights, weekends and public holidays, unless the caller hides their number or you've blocked them. On paid plans, Wombo replies to messages around the clock while you have AI credits. Calls come out of your plan's monthly allowance; Free has none at all, just 5 test calls to try it.

Does Wombo send quotes and invoices on his own?

No. He drafts them and you check and send, so nothing goes to a customer or moves money until you say so. On paid plans, the one thing he sends on his own is replies to customer messages in conversations assigned to him; new conversations go to him unless you change that in Settings, and sending a message takes one over. On Free, you reply to every conversation yourself.
